During this trying time, I would ask that you please accept my condolences and prayers on behalf of the Langford family. You are going to be someone who I will miss. Each and every one of these things has brought me to my knees. He served as a guide and mentor to me when I was in the classroom during my student teaching experience at Arrington Middle School in 2006. This event took place in 2006. In the time that has passed since then, we have maintained communication with one another by means of either a phone call or a text message every other month.
We had a conversation not more than a few weeks ago, during which we expressed our enthusiasm about the possibility of working together on a project that would take place throughout the course of the summer. In order to ensure that he was always aware of the fact that he had a significant role in my path toward achieving my objectives, I made it a point to make sure that he was aware of it. It was quite evident that he was an extremely driven educator who really cared about the accomplishments of both his pupils and his fellow educational professionals.
It is our sincere desire that his effect and influence will endure for all of eternity!On the occasion of Jason Langford’s departure, I would like to extend my condolences to the families of AH Parker High School and BCS, as well as to the families of A&M and Langford. I am sorry for your loss. The name Jason Langford was a fitting one for him. Not only did he serve as one of our YMCA Youth in Government consultants, but he also played a significant role in the establishment of our committee at A. H. Parker High School. Additionally, he played a significant role in the formation of our committee.
Furthermore, he served as our contact and collaborated with the Birmingham Bar Association to organize our BCS district simulated trial. He was also responsible for coordinating the mock trial. For a while, he was a part of the BCS. Throughout his whole life, he was known by the name Jason. This name shaped his identity. In recognition of each and every moment that we spent working on this project together, for each and every life that you helped us cultivate, for each and every victory and every defeat… I will be thankful and humbled for the rest of my life that I was given the opportunity to work alongside you.
