Jason Birley Obituary – The Maryland State Police are currently conducting an investigation into a tragic incident involving a single-vehicle motorcycle crash that took place on Sunday night. At approximately 10:30 p.m. on May 12, troopers promptly responded to a report of the crash, which occurred in the vicinity of the 2600 block of Whiteford Road.
Based on the initial findings of the investigation, it appears that a Honda motorcycle was heading north when it veered off the road and collided with a telephone pole. Regrettably, the operator of the motorcycle, Jason Birley, a 50-year-old resident of Fawn Grove, PA, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Harford County Emergency Medical Services personnel. As a result of this tragic incident, Whiteford Road had to be closed for approximately two and a half hours.
