Her family, lead by her daughter Jessica Rankin, is organising a campaign to assist pay funeral costs and honour her memory. Janet was a wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, and friend to many, and her death has left a significant vacuum in the lives of those who knew her. She enjoyed music, tennis, and her pets, and her family and friends will cherish these memories. Janet’s challenges did not completely define her, as she provided joy to many people with her generosity and love.
Jessica Rankin organised the event, which hopes to earn $5,000 to assist provide Janet with the tribute she deserves. As of yet, no contributions have been received, but the community hopes to unite around Jessica and her family at this terrible time. Any gift, however little, would be much appreciated as they put Janet to rest. Jessica explained that her mother’s death, although devastating, also provides peace since Janet is no longer in misery. She expressed her heartfelt thanks for the love and support she has gotten from people close to her during this difficult time.
The campaign allows anyone who knew Janet and wanted to honour her memory to aid her family at this difficult time. Jessica has also urged anybody suffering from addiction or mental health issues to get assistance, reassuring them that there is always hope and that they are not alone.
