After notifying Stearns County Dispatch about the gunshots, the officers encountered two children, aged 5 and 8, who had exited a nearby residence, claiming that a shooting had occurred. Once the children were safely placed in a police vehicle, the officers entered the home and discovered the bodies of two adults.
