Forbes Magazine listed James Irving as being worth $5.9 billion this year, while his brother Arthur was said to have been worth $6.3 billion, ranking him as Canada’s 10th richest person.
In a statement, the Irving family shared that James Irving died peacefully on Friday in Saint John. The statement also noted that he is survived by his four children and that funeral arrangements will be announced later.
