Jacoby Willis Obituary, Dallas resident identified as victim of 35th homicide in Shreveport

Jacoby Willis Obituary – The Caddo Parish Coroner has identified the 35th homicide victim in Shreveport for this year. Jacoby Willis, a 46-year-old from Dallas, was fatally shot late Friday night while talking to someone at a residence on Bethany Street. A family member heard gunshots and found Willis with a gunshot wound to the neck. He was taken to Ochsner LSU Health but succumbed to his injuries at 11:59 p.m. The coroner confirmed Willis’ identity through fingerprint comparisons, and the Shreveport police are currently investigating the shooting.
