Jack Becker – The 54-year-old ATV driver who was killed in a collision with another vehicle on Monday in Richfield has been identified by the Department of Public Safety. Jack Becker, a resident of Richfield, was driving a utility terrain vehicle north on Main Street near 1100 South around 4 p.m. on Monday.
The Utah Highway Patrol reported that a Hyundai Elantra was traveling south near the same intersection. The ATV turned left in front of the Elantra at 1100 South and was struck “broadside” by the Elantra, causing the ATV to roll. Becker, who was not restrained, was ejected during the crash and was later pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital.
A pregnant passenger in the Elantra was also taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
