Izaiah Huggans Obituary, Death; – The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has disclosed the identity of a 17-year-old victim who lost his life in a double shooting incident in Southeast D.C. on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Izaiah Huggans, a resident of Southeast D.C. The incident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. in the 3500 block of 6th Street on February 4. Upon arrival, officers discovered Huggans and a 16-year-old male, both of whom had sustained gunshot wounds.
Authorities reported that Huggans suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 16-year-old was transported to a hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. As of Thursday, D.C. police have stated that no arrests have been made in relation to this case.
