Nisa Vanzant Death – The family members of Iyanla Vanzant mourn the death of her daughter, Nisa Vanzant, who was recently pronounced dead. The cause of her death is yet to be released to the public as the family are still devastated about the news of her death. Iyanla Vanzant is a well-known inspirational speaker, lawyer, New Thought spiritual teacher, author, life coach, and television personality from the United States.
It was posted on Iyanla Vanzant’s Facebook page after Nisa’s death that “It is with great sorrow that we announce the transition of Nisa Vanzant the youngest daughter of our Beloved Iyanla Vanzant we are asking for your prayers. Iyanla Vanzant’s birth name is Rhonda Eva Harris, and she was born on September 13, 1953. Her novels, her talk show with the same name, and her appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show are the primary reasons for her widespread notoriety.
Ebony magazine acknowledged her as one of the “100 most influential Black Americans” in the year 2000, stating that “her books, lectures, and television appearances have made her a multimedia high priestess of healthy relationships.” This achievement earned her the title of “100 most influential Black Americans.” On the list of the 100 most spiritually important living people that Watkins’ Mind Body Spirit magazine compiled in 2012, Vanzant was ranked number seven on that category.
She was a co-speaker on Oprah’s “Life You Want Weekend” tour in 2014, which visited eight cities and also featured Deepak Chopra, Mark Nepo, Elizabeth Gilbert, and Rob Bell. The tour was called “Life You Want Weekend.” In 2016, Oprah Winfrey included Vanzant on her list of SuperSoul100, which honors the most visionary and impactful leaders in the world.
Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority has inducted Vanzant into its ranks of honorary members. On Christmas Day in 2003, Vanzant’s daughter Gemmia, who was 30 years old, passed away as a result of an extremely uncommon form of colon cancer. In 2007, Vanzant and her husband, Yemi, finalized their divorce.
In July 2023, her daughter Nisa Vanzant passed away.
