Isidro Fernando Hernandez-Ortiz, Daniel Dicochea Obituary – Two individuals who lost their lives in a shooting incident on the south side of Tucson on Sunday have been identified. Isidro Fernando Hernandez-Ortiz, aged 23, and Oscar Daniel Dicochea, aged 21, were fatally shot during an incident that took place around 6 a.m. on Sunday in the 2500 block of East Aerospace Parkway, located south of the Tucson International Airport. This information was shared by Frank Magos, the spokesperson for the Tucson Police Department, in a press release.
Upon receiving a report of gunfire, officers in the vicinity were alerted and guided to a desert area where the shooting had transpired. Numerous witnesses were present at the scene. Hernandez-Ortiz and another woman who had sustained gunshot wounds were found at the location. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the woman were not life-threatening, as confirmed by the police.
Two additional individuals were transported separately to the hospital. Sadly, one of them was Dicochea, who was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to the police. The other male victim of the shooting was also taken to a hospital, but his injuries were reported to be non-life threatening by the police.
Approximately 50 individuals were present in the area where the shooting took place, and a confrontation between two groups escalated into gunfire, as reported by the police. Following the incident, several individuals fled the scene before the arrival of law enforcement. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the police are urging anyone with relevant information to contact 88-CRIME, an anonymous tip line.
This shooting incident was the second reported on Sunday. Earlier, officers had responded to another shooting incident around midnight at Ten’s Showclub, as mentioned by Magos.
