Isaac Blackhorse Garcia Arrested; – A pregnant teenager has tragically lost her life, and her newborn remains in critical condition following a hit-and-run incident in Riverside, as reported by authorities on Thursday. A 19-year-old male has been apprehended in connection with the case.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:45 p.m. on Sunday on Gregg Place, according to the Riverside Police Department. During the investigation, it was revealed that the suspect, identified as Isaac Blackhorse Garcia, had been involved in a sexual relationship with the victim’s teenage sister. He was in the process of dropping her off at home when family members approached his vehicle.
In an attempt to flee, Blackhorse Garcia accelerated and struck the pregnant woman with his car. The victim sustained critical injuries and subsequently passed away at the hospital. Her name and exact age have not been disclosed. Medical personnel successfully delivered her baby, who is reported to be in critical condition.
The suspect was later apprehended in Moreno Valley. Blackhorse Garcia now faces charges of murder, hit-and-run resulting in death, and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. He is currently being held without bail.
