In Two Different cases, Husbands Killed Two Women; Two tragic incidents of domestic violence resulting in the deaths of women have been reported in Sheikhupura and Arifwala.
In Sheikhupura, a woman was murdered after her husband, with the assistance of his family, allegedly gave her poison during a domestic dispute. The woman was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to the poisoning. Police are actively investigating the case, and the perpetrator along with his family members are currently on the run. Authorities have formed a special team to apprehend them and bring them to justice.
In a separate incident under the jurisdiction of Arifwala Sadar Police, another woman was fatally shot by her husband. The deceased had previously filed for divorce from her husband in court. Following the shooting, the husband fled the scene. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident and to apprehend the perpetrator.
These tragic incidents highlight the ongoing issue of domestic violence and the need for effective measures to protect women from such violence.
