Hope Ritter Obituary, Death; – The Clark County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of a woman who was discovered shot and killed in her vehicle last week.
Hope Ritter, aged 29, was located in her car on Saturday morning near the intersection of Fremont and Las Vegas Boulevard, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the head, according to the coroner’s office. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police reported that Ritter and another woman were conversing in the vehicle when two men approached and opened fire. Ritter was declared dead at the scene.
FOX5 has reported that Ritter was employed at Atomic Liquors, situated just a few blocks from the location of the incident. The company issued a statement on Facebook, expressing, “Hope’s warm presence touched the lives of our regular patrons and the entire downtown community. Her loss is a profound one…”
“She was an incredibly warm, kind person,” stated Andrew Mendez, the General Manager of Atomic Liquors, on Thursday. “She had developed a loyal following of regulars who frequented the bar on weekends, knowing she would be working.”
The bar is organizing a memorial and fundraiser for her family this Sunday. Ritter was a mother to a 9-year-old girl, and all proceeds from the memorial will be directed to support her daughter.
