A woman of steadfast faith, Lisa’s life was a shining testament to the power of prayer and her unwavering belief in the Baptist faith. Raised in Rockwood by her loving parents, Edna Dean Rayder and Hulon Metcalfe, Lisa embodied the values of kindness, service, and devotion throughout her life.
Lisa’s life was marked by her deep love for her community, where she served faithfully as both a volunteer and a paramedic for over two decades. Her dedication to helping others left an indelible impact on countless lives. Beyond her professional contributions, Lisa found joy in exploring new places and creating cherished memories with her family and friends. Her adventurous spirit and zest for life were sources of inspiration for all who knew her.
A devoted wife, Lisa shared 45 beautiful years of marriage with her husband and lifelong love, Kendall Jolly. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for their family. As a mother, Lisa poured her heart into encouraging her sons, Dakota and Jeremy Jolly, cheering them on in their sports and other endeavors with unbridled enthusiasm. She was their biggest fan, and her unwavering support shaped their lives in profound ways.
Lisa’s passing leaves a profound void, but her legacy of love and service lives on. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edna Dean Rayder and Hulon Metcalfe, and her brothers, Jimbo Cates, Ronnie Metcalfe, and Danny Metcalfe.
She is survived by:
- Her beloved husband, Kendall Jolly
- Her devoted sons, Dakota Jolly and Jeremy Jolly
- Her cherished grandchildren, Laken and Kenlee Jolly
- Her brother, Jackie Metcalfe (Sandra)
- Her sisters, Donna Roberts (Jerry), Sissy Burgess (Paul), and Karen Keener (Dewayne)

Family and friends are invited to honor Lisa’s memory during a graveside and interment service at Oak Grove Cemetery on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Chaplain Bruce K. Foster will officiate the service, celebrating a life that exemplified love, faith, and service.
