CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have initiated a homicide investigation following a shooting in west Charlotte, officials say.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. Sunday in the 4200 block of Welling Ave.
Medical personnel on the scene said they responded to reports of a shooting where two people were transported with life-threatening injuries.
Now, CMPD is investigating this incident as a homicide.
Details are limited at this time. Officials have not said if they’re looking for any suspects.
