Heather Treibly Obituary – A man from Azle is currently in custody on various charges, including murder, after the discovery of a missing woman’s body concealed in his backyard. The Azle Police Department announced that Shane Breshers has been charged with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and murder in connection with the death of Heather Treibly, who had been missing since May 27.
The investigation was initiated by the Azle Police following a missing persons report filed on June 1 regarding Treibly. On June 12, officers were dispatched to Breshers’ residence on Ty Lane after receiving reports of a suspicious incident. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered an unidentified body hidden in the backyard of Breshers’ home. Authorities were able to tentatively identify the deceased person as Treibly through her tattoos. The police department designated Breshers as the primary suspect and gathered additional evidence to obtain an arrest warrant.
Breshers was taken into custody on the same day the body was found, initially on charges of tampering with evidence, and later charged with murder on the following day. Booking records indicate that Breshers is currently being held at the Lon Evans Corrections Center with a bond set at $650,000.
