Heather Lynn Clark Obituary, Death; – The Dorchester County Coroner’s Office announced on Friday the identification of the individual who lost her life in a tragic motorcycle accident near Middleton Place.
Heather Lynn Clark, a 39-year-old resident of Summerville, was traveling northbound on Highway 61 at approximately 2:30 p.m. when her motorcycle was collided with by a 2020 Land Rover. Subsequently, the Land Rover also impacted a Honda SUV.
Clark was pronounced dead at the scene, while six other individuals sustained injuries. The incident resulted in the closure of a section of the roadway for several hours as emergency crews worked to clear the area.
An investigation is being conducted by the South Carolina Highway Patrol in conjunction with the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office.
