The shooting that took place in Hartford on Wednesday night resulted in the death of a guy from East Hartford. According to the police, it appears the shooters were waiting for the man before opening fire. At around 9:42 p.m., police officers responded to the area surrounding Barbour and Kensington streets and located East Hartford resident Terrawne Nickson, 46, hiding behind a building.
According to the statements made by the police, it appears that three individuals were waiting for Nickson and shot him multiple times. It seemed as though three of the perpetrators were hiding in wait for the victim. The victim suddenly became visible on the camera. The three people under suspicion appeared. According to Lieutenant Aaron Boisvert, “all three of them opened fire, so there were multiple shooters striking the victim.”
According to the authorities, it also appears that Nickson pulled out a gun and shot, but he did not hit anyone with his bullets. According to the police, Nickson was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where he was later confirmed dead. Investigations are currently being conducted by both the Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions of the Hartford Police Department. Within the past thirty days, there have been three separate shootings on Barbour Street. The most recent shooting took place on July 31, and the victim sustained injuries that are still unknown.
A shooting occurred as someone was driving by about a week ago. According to the police, Marion Edwards, who was 24 years old, passed away, and another man, who was 70 years old, is in critical condition.
