The collision involved a motorcyclist on a 2013 Harley Davidson and a truck, a 2023 Ford F-150, driving in the wrong direction on the highway.
The crash took place between Rockwood and Crab Orchard at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening. Regrettably, the driver of the Harley Davidson, who was wearing a helmet, lost her life as a result of the collision. The driver of the truck, who remained unharmed, is facing pending charges in connection with the incident.
