Giorgio Kirylo has sadly passed away unexpectedly, his death was announced by a social media post which wrote thus “We have received information from the community about the passing of Giorgio Kirylo, a former SOCS at MARSOC. First of all, let me to say that this is an incredibly devastating tragedy for his family, friends, and fellow warriors.
Like a great deal of people in our community. His accomplishments in the finest north county breweries of South Dakota and on the battlefield will be remembered. When he was leaving MRSOC, I was his XO, and I went through the Eddie Gallagher trial with him.
The ups and downs were frequent, which made his post-deployment struggles even more difficult. We spoke intermittently after the Marines, and I wish this weren’t the case. Any type is accepted in this Marine Corps. He had a unique sense of style.
