Gee Chisley Death – Tragedy has once again struck the streets of Northwest D.C., prompting a police response to a fatal shooting late Wednesday night. The incident, which shattered the evening calm near 10th and Spring Road, resulted in the death of one young man and the injury of another.
The Homicide Branch of the Metropolitan Police Department is currently investigating the case, trying to piece together the limited evidence left behind after the violent episode.
Upon responding to the call at approximately 9:14 p.m., officers from the Fourth District found one victim with gunshot wounds that were initially considered non-life-threatening.
Unfortunately, the second victim did not survive. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
As per a statement released on the Metropolitan Police Department’s official website, the deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Gee Chisley from Temple Hills, MD. While detectives are actively working on the case, the specifics leading to the shooting remain unclear.
