Gavin Looper Obituary, Death; – The Spokane County Medical Examiner identified the teenager who was fatally shot in Hillyard early Saturday morning on Monday.
According to the medical examiner, 13-year-old Gavin Looper succumbed to injuries from a gunshot wound he received on Heroy Avenue in Hillyard. Residents in the area reported hearing a minimum of five or six gunshots around the time the incident occurred.
As of Monday afternoon, there had been no arrests in connection with the case, and law enforcement officials were still conducting their investigation.
