Gary Michael Kingins Obituary – Gary Michael Kingins, a 57-year-old man from Saginaw, tragically lost his life in Oakland County on Thursday. According to officials from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, Kingins was riding his 2017 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 motorcycle when a car suddenly pulled in front of him on Sleeth Road at Marcello Drive in Commerce Township.
The car, a 2024 Ford Edge driven by a 60-year-old woman from Farmington Hills, was making a left turn onto Marcello when the collision occurred. Unfortunately, Kingins was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Paramedics from the Commerce Township Fire Department rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the car, who was wearing a seatbelt, received treatment at the scene. The sheriff’s office has stated that alcohol was not a contributing factor in the crash. Currently, the incident is being investigated by the sheriff’s crash reconstruction unit.
