Gary L. Wilkerson Obituary – A man from Blount County lost his life in a tragic accident on Saturday evening when he was hit by a vehicle. The incident took place at approximately 8:55 p.m. on Blount County Road 12, located eight miles south of Oneonta.
The victim has been identified as Gary L. Wilkerson, a 67-year-old individual. Wilkerson was riding a motorcycle when he collided with an animal on the road, causing him to be thrown from his vehicle into the lanes of oncoming traffic. Subsequently, he was struck by another vehicle and unfortunately succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
