HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A 60-year-old man has been charged after making “unsolicited sexual content” with clients at a nail salon, according to the Huntersville Police Department.
The alleged incidents happened on Jan. 15 and Jan. 20 at the Lee Nails Spa in the Regency Village Shopping Center on W. Catawba Ave.
Officials say 60-year-old Nhan “Tom” Tran was a nail technician and offered female clients “add-on” massages where he made “unsolicited sexual contact” with multiple victims.
According to arrest records, Tran was first booked at 9:35 a.m. on Jan. 30 under a $20,000 secured bond for two counts of sexual battery. He was released less than eight hours later at 5:26 a.m. on Jan. 31 but arrested again on an additional count of sexual battery for a $20,000 bond at 8:40 p.m. Tran was released less than 20 hours after that booking, records show.
