Exodus Crockett Obituary, Death; – With the family’s consent, Emma Roberson Elementary School has confirmed that the prekindergarten student tragically killed by a school bus in North Texas this week was 5-year-old Exodus Crockett.
Officials from the Granbury Independent School District have announced arrangements for a candlelight vigil and funeral services in memory of the child. “We invite everyone to join us in honoring the life of our cherished student and friend, Exodus Crockett,” stated school officials in a social media update on Wednesday.
The community vigil is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, at Hewlett Park, located at 621 E. Pearl St. in Granbury. Attendees are encouraged to wear attire featuring Exodus’ favorite character, Spider-Man. A viewing and visitation will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 21, at StoneWater Church, 911 E. Hwy 377, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. that same day.
A GoFundMe account has been established to support the family, although donations are preferably directed to a benefit account for the Crockett family at First National Bank of Granbury. Additionally, a Meal Train page has been created to coordinate meal deliveries for the family.
