Death: Eva Jane Marks Lalonde Obituary – Lakeview Manor Nursing Home was the location where Eva Jane Lalonde spent her final days on March 31, 2024. It was in this particular location that she eventually passed away. Her loved ones, including her family and friends, were surrounding her at the time of her departure, and they were all gathered around her. She was a resident of Lakeland, Louisiana, in addition to her hometown of Port Barre, Louisiana, in the state of Louisiana. Both of these places counted her as a citizen. She was 90 years old at that point in time.
The two of them had been employed by Alma Plantation as store clerks before to their retirement. Her husband, who was known as “Black,” was also employed there. They each took their respective positions and retired. The only child she ever had, Elizabeth Holloway, together with her two sisters, Elsie Marks Guidry and Rita Marks Arnaud, one granddaughter, Dana Dickinson, and two great-grandsons, Cade Dickinson and Landon Dickinson, are among the individuals who are able to carry on her legacy. Her legacy will be carried on by her descendants.
Her husband of 66 years, Paul “Black” Lalonde, as well as her parents, Edgar Marks, Sr. and Clemence Marks, as well as two brothers, Joseph Marks and Edgar Marks, Jr., and five sisters, Hilda LeBlanc, Eleanor Bernard, Lillian Dupre, Lelia Faul, and Mildred Chustz, all left before she did. Her passing was a tragic loss for all of them. Her mother and father had also passed away. On Thursday, April 4, 2024, the visitation is scheduled to take place at Niland’s Funeral Home in New Roads, Louisiana, beginning at 8:30 am and continuing until 10:30 am.
The visitation will go until 10:30 am. Thursday has been selected as the day for the services to take place. In addition, the Christian burial service will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lakeland, Louisiana, at eleven o’clock in the morning this coming Sunday. This is going to take place after the incident that came before it. Once it has been completed, the burial will take place at Chenal Cemetery as the specified location. Cade Dickinson, Landon Dickinson, Brad Guidry, Terry LeJeune, Jeremy Guedry, and Danny Hogan are the individuals who will serve as pallbearers at the funeral service that will take place in Louisiana. The funeral service will be held in Louisiana. Both the Lakeview Manor Nursing Home and the Pointe Coupee Hospice deserve our most sincere gratitude, and we would want to have the opportunity to express it.
