Escarlin Suriel,Gabriella Constrantino Obituary, – Multiple fatalities were reported following a multi-vehicle collision on Friday night in South Jersey. The incident occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. on the 8000 block of the Black Horse Pike in the West Atlantic City section of Egg Harbor Township.
Chopper 6 from 6abc captured the scene, revealing at least three vehicles involved, one of which caught fire. The crash transpired when a 2017 silver Nissan Sentra traveling westbound on the Black Horse Pike mistakenly entered the eastbound lanes, resulting in a head-on collision with a 2018 Kia Forte. The impact pushed the Kia Forte into a 2020 red Nissan Sentra also in the eastbound lanes, while a 2019 silver Toyota Yaris was hit by debris. Tragically, two individuals lost their lives in the accident, identified as 21-year-old Escarlin Suriel and 22-year-old Gabriella Constrantino.
The crash left two juvenile passengers critically injured, along with a 25-year-old man and a Good Samaritan who came to their aid. The cause of the collision is still under investigation, and the Black Horse Pike was closed for over seven hours before reopening. Furthermore, a 27-year-old man from the Kia Forte sustained serious injuries, while two occupants of the red Nissan were treated for minor injuries.
