Erick Candelario Obituary – The deceased individual from the kayaking accident in Exeter Township on Saturday has been identified as 41-year-old Erick Candelario of Reading. Despite CPR efforts at the scene, Candelario was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The emergency call was received just after 4 p.m. on Saturday near Lincoln Road, behind Total Recycle. The incident involved three kayakers, with one kayak overturning and the kayaker going under. The difficult location made it challenging for rescuers to reach the victim. The cause of death will be determined after an autopsy, according to the coroner.
