    Enrique Caal Juc Obituary, Death; Police ID Man Killed Crossing South Richmond Road

    Enrique Caal Juc Obituary, Death; – A pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle while crossing Walmsley Boulevard has succumbed to his injuries, according to an announcement from the Richmond police. The victim has been identified as 46-year-old Enrique Caal Juc, a resident of Richmond.

    Police were dispatched to the 4700 block of Walmsley Boulevard around 10:52 p.m. on Tuesday after receiving reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. Upon their arrival, officers found Caal Juc unresponsive in the street. He was transported to a hospital, where he passed away on Wednesday morning.

    Investigators have established that Caal Juc was crossing Walmsley Boulevard in an eastbound direction without using a crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle traveling north. The driver remained at the scene, according to police.

    The investigation is still in progress, and no charges have been filed at this moment. Authorities are urging anyone with information to reach out to Investigator Jamison at 804-646-1665 or to contact Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
