Emma Williams, a native of Anderson, South Carolina, and a beloved teacher at Seneca High School passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024. She was 22 years old at the time of her death. She was announced dead through a social media publication that read “A precious former student, please keep her family in your prayers.” She will be missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and her student.
The announcement of Emma Katherine Williams’ passing shocked the Seneca High School community on Thursday. According to the Anderson County Coroner’s Office, she was discovered deceased at a family member’s house. The district said that it was under an extended Code Yellow on Thursday morning. Counselors were made accessible, professors and staff were informed, and students were informed during second period. The day’s afternoon activities were all postponed.
Born on April 9, 2002 in Anderson, South Carolina, Emma Katherine Williams was a graduate of Seneca High School and Anderson University. Emma was a teacher at Seneca High School. She was a member of Townville Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter to her parents, Robby and Jennifer Boleman Williams. Emma was loved and cherished by her brother, Reece Williams. She was very knowledgeable, very kind, and empathetic. She was a great teacher and mentor who worked hard and had clear communication skills.
