In a terrifying interview with CNN, a former Israeli soldier described the atrocities he and his fellow soldiers committed while serving in Gaza, Palestine, and the variety of mental diseases that followed his deeds.
Guy Zaken, an Israeli reservist, used a D-9 bulldozer to destroy houses and structures in the enclave, frequently while the Palestinians were still inside.
In June, Zaken told the Israeli parliament that soldiers had to “run over” hundreds of Palestinians in Gaza, both dead and living.
After returning from Gaza, the ex-soldier told CNN that he was unable to consume meat because “everything squirts out.” It truly impacts you when you eat when you see a lot of meat and blood outdoors, both ours and theirs,” he remarked.
Zaken maintains that most of the Palestinians they saw were terrorists, saying, “Citizens don’t exist.” This is terrorism.
Zaken’s co-driver in the bulldozer, Eliran Mizrahi, 40, spent 186 days in Gaza on his first deployment before killing himself two days before his second chance to visit the territory.
