Edward Spears Obituary, Death; – The Florence County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the individual who lost their life in a head-on collision in the Florence region.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on Sunday at approximately 6:40 a.m. on Highway 52, close to Clement Street.
Lance Cpl. Lena Butler reported that a 2001 Ford Mustang was involved in a head-on crash with a 2008 Lexus LS 460.
The driver of the Ford was pronounced dead at the scene, while emergency medical services transported the Lexus driver to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, Butler stated. Subsequently, the coroner identified the deceased as Edward Spears, a resident of Florence.
