Edward J Le Donne Obituary, Death; – The Rock County Medical Examiner has identified a Sussex resident who tragically lost his life in a motor vehicle accident on December 30, 2024. Edward J. Le Donne, aged 58, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
According to officials, initial findings from a forensic examination indicate that his death resulted from the injuries sustained in the collision. The incident occurred shortly after 6 a.m. at the intersection of County Road A and County Road H in the Town of Janesville.
Investigations revealed that Mr. Le Donne was driving south on County Road H when he failed to yield at a stop sign at County Road A. His vehicle entered the intersection and struck another vehicle traveling west on County Road A. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Following the accident, the intersection remained closed for several hours. Authorities have stated that no criminal charges will be filed. The name of the victim was initially withheld. Further testing is currently in progress. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Department, is continuing the investigation.
