Eduardo Cinca Obituary, Death; – Authorities have disclosed the identity of the pedestrian who was tragically struck and killed by a pickup truck in Paramus earlier this week.
Eduardo Cinca, an 82-year-old resident of Paramus, lost his life while attempting to cross Farview Avenue from west to east at approximately 6:50 p.m. on Wednesday, as stated by Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti. He was struck by a 2019 Dodge Ram truck that was traveling northbound at the time of the incident.
Officers who arrived at the scene made efforts to assist Cinca; however, he was pronounced dead at the location by paramedics.
The identity of the truck driver, a 48-year-old resident of Paramus, has not been disclosed. Authorities have not filed any charges related to the incident.
The circumstances surrounding this fatality are currently under investigation by the Paramus Police Department, the Bergen County Fatal Accident Unit, and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department.
