Eddie H. Williams Convicted Serial Rapist Sentenced To Life In Prison After Pleading Guilty To Homicide: Holly Le Sac showed compassion for both people and animals. She phoned on holidays and never forgot birthdays. She was a gifted artist who had carved an ice sculpture in Milwaukee’s downtown once.
A childhood acquaintance described her as having a “beautiful soul”; she was sensitive yet trustworthy at the same time. She met Eddie Williams, a convicted sex offender, by chance a little over a year ago. He viciously assaulted her and killed her in an act of “pure evil,” as Le Sac’s family described it.
Williams raped another lady in Brown Deer at knifepoint four months after the murder. At the time of the attacks, Williams, 48, was supposed to be under GPS surveillance; nevertheless, he allowed the battery to run low and ultimately turned off the device.
Brown Deer police recovered bus security footage that showed the suspect and sent it to media outlets. Several people called police to identify Williams as the suspect. His DNA also was found on the woman. “Had he gotten her to a more secluded location, he may have killed (her) too,” the prosecutor said Friday.
Williams pleaded guilty to first-degree intentional homicide and two counts of first-degree sexual assault. He apologized to the victims and their families in court before telling the judge he would “take my punishment like I’m supposed to.”
