Dylan Dailey Obituary, Death; – The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office reported that a snowmobile accident on Wednesday evening resulted in one fatality.
The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Dylan Dailey from Kunkletown, Pennsylvania. According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to Trail C4 in Camden following reports of the incident at approximately 9:45 p.m.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Dailey was operating a 2011 Ski-Doo Rev XP 600 snowmobile on Trail C4 when he failed to navigate a sharp curve, subsequently colliding with several trees and being ejected from the vehicle. Authorities believe that speed may have contributed to the accident; however, the investigation remains ongoing.
Dailey was riding alongside another individual on a separate snowmobile, who was also involved in the incident, as noted by the Sheriff’s Office. The Criminal Investigations Unit is currently looking into the matter. Assistance was provided by the New York State Police, Taberg Fire Department, Kirks Towing, The Shop Collision & Mechanical, and the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office.
