Dwight Russell Obituary, – The authorities reported that an elderly man passed away in a fire that occurred early Sunday morning in central Maine. The Milo Fire Department was called to a structure fire in a detached garage and workshop located next to a single-family home on Elm Street at approximately 4:17 a.m. on Sunday.
Following the discovery of human remains at the fire site, the State Fire Marshal’s Office was contacted just after 5 a.m. Investigators arrived at the scene, removed the body, and documented the area. The deceased individual has been identified as 76-year-old Dwight Russell, who resided on the premises. His body will be transported to the state medical examiner’s office in Augusta for official identification. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
