Born in the picturesque town of Breckenridge, Colorado, Dwight Metcalf’s early years were shaped by the stunning Rocky Mountains. However, fate had other plans for him as his family relocated to Fort Scott, Kansas, during his formative years. It was there that Metcalf’s sense of duty and responsibility blossomed, eventually leading him to enlist in the US Navy after completing high school. His time in the Navy instilled in him values of discipline, honor, and service to others, qualities that would define his future endeavors.
Following his honorable discharge from the Navy, Metcalf pursued higher education at Emporia Kansas State College, now known as Emporia State University. Armed with a thirst for knowledge and a desire to succeed, he immersed himself in his studies, eventually graduating with flying colors. However, Metcalf’s journey was far from over. His passion for helping others led him to a career in the insurance industry, where he found his true calling.
