Dustin Michael Goode, cherished for his roles as a devoted husband, loving father, son, brother, and friend, passed away at his Addis residence on June 12, 2024, at the age of 37. Originally from Batchelor, LA, Dustin leaves behind a legacy of warmth and strength in his community.
Visitation will take place at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 pm at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plaquemine, officiated by Father Jason Palermo. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park in Plaquemine.
Dustin is survived by his beloved wife, Lindsey Rivet Goode, their children Camden, Jeanne, and Briar Goode, his mother Pam Goode, father Michael Goode and wife Mary, sister Brooke Goode, brother Garrett Day, grandmother Amelia Aguillard, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Louis Aguillard, Roy and Joyce Goode, and uncle John Goode.
Known for his passion for hunting and fishing, Dustin was an avid outdoorsman and a member of Tropical Gardens Hunting Club. He was also renowned for his knack for fixing anything and his preparedness for any situation. His memory will be honored through memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Pallbearers will include Chase Breaux, Tyler Bordelon, Bryan Aguillard, Nathan Hebert, Mark Myers, Garrett Day, Joel Bezet, and Andy Plauche, with Taylor and Trey Morgan, Brant and Trey Rivet serving as honorary pallbearers.
