Drew Death; – A family is in grief following the tragic death of an 11-year-old boy in a house fire that occurred late Monday evening.
The victim has been identified by the family as Drew, a fifth-grade student attending South Side Heritage Elementary School. The fire is said to have ignited around 6:30 p.m. on Monday within the bathroom of a mobile home located outside Loop 1604 in South Bexar County.
The fire resulted in the total destruction of the residence. Two firefighters sustained injuries while battling the blaze but have since received medical clearance.
