Donovan Gobel,Anthony Krider Obituary, – Two teenagers from Elk River tragically lost their lives in a single-vehicle crash in Big Lake, northwest of the Twin Cities. The driver, Anthony Krider, and one of the passengers, Donovan Gobel, were pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger, Charles Gabrelcik, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The incident occurred early Saturday morning when a Big Lake police officer observed the vehicle speeding on Highway 25. Upon attempting to make a traffic stop, the officer discovered the crash site where the car had veered off the road, rolled over, and collided with a tree. The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the accident, and it remains unclear whether alcohol played a role. Fortunately, all three individuals were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
