Devyn Reiley Obituary, Death Cause – We are deeply saddened to learn about the tragic accidents that occurred during the air show in Wisconsin over the weekend. The victims have been identified, and our hearts go out to their families and loved ones as they mourn the loss of their dear ones.
In the first crash involving a World War II era T-6 Texas, two lives were tragically lost. One of the victims was 30-year-old Devyn Reiley, who was the daughter of former NFL player and Super Bowl champion Bruce Collie.
Our thoughts and prayers are with their families as they navigate through this difficult time. Two people who were in the other vehicle involved in the collision were rushed to the hospital and are currently in stable condition.
We wish them a swift and full recovery, and our hearts go out to them as well. As the community grieves the loss of these individuals, we also extend our appreciation to the emergency responders and medical teams who quickly provided assistance to those affected by the accidents.
During this time of mourning and healing, we stand in solidarity with the affected families and the entire community, offering our deepest condolences and support. May they find comfort and strength in the memories of their loved ones and in the support of one another.
The other victim was identified as 20-year-old Zach Colliemoreno. Their passing is a devastating loss for their families and the community, and they will be deeply missed.
The second incident involved a collision between a helicopter and a gyrocopter at the south end of the flightline during EAA Airventure 2023 in Oshkosh. The pilot of the helicopter, 69-year-old Mark Peterson from Alabama, and his passenger, 72-year-old Thomas Volz from Ohio, both lost their lives in the tragic accident.
