Destiny Weitkamp Obituary, Death;- Authorities have identified a woman from York County as the driver who tragically lost her life over the weekend, following an incident in which she swerved into oncoming traffic on a local road.
Destiny Weitkamp, a resident of Lower Chanceford Township, was traveling south on the 2500 block of Delta Road when she veered into the northbound lane and collided head-on with another vehicle at approximately 9:30 p.m. on May 1, as reported by the York County Coroner’s Office. She was declared deceased on Sunday evening at WellSpan York Hospital, according to the coroner’s office.
The coroner has classified Weitkamp’s death as accidental, resulting from blunt force trauma. It remains unclear whether there were any other injuries. The Pennsylvania State Police are currently conducting an investigation into the crash, with the cause still undetermined.
