Desir Davidson Obituary, – Kirksville authorities have successfully identified the victim of a suspected drowning incident at an apartment complex pool on Monday evening.
On Wednesday morning, investigators confirmed the identity of the male drowning victim as Desir Davidson, a 27-year-old resident of Kirksville who was originally from Haiti. The tragic event took place at the private pool of the Woodwinds Condominiums located on Route P in Kirksville.
After a resident discovered Davidson’s body in the pool and alerted authorities, emergency medical personnel were unable to resuscitate him upon retrieval from the water. Davidson was later pronounced deceased at Northeast Regional Medical Center.
The Kirksville Police Department expressed gratitude to all individuals who provided information and support during the investigation. KTVO is currently awaiting further details from Deputy Police Chief Justin Jones regarding the identification process of Davidson, his residence in Kirksville, and the circumstances surrounding his presence at Woodwinds.
