Dennis Bradley Obituary Wilmington, DE Cherished Resident has died: Dennis Howard Bradley, age 36, passed away on May 18, 2024. Born in Wilmington, he was the beloved son of Kathleen Lucas and J. Patrick Bradley. Dennis had a vibrant life filled with academic achievements, travel adventures, and a deep passion for sports.
Dennis graduated from St. Edmond’s Academy in 2001 and Archmere Academy in 2005, where he excelled in athletics. He furthered his education at Loyola University, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Business. During his time at Loyola, Dennis studied abroad in Europe, where he traveled extensively and gained a global perspective that he cherished throughout his life.
After returning from Europe, Dennis worked at Loyola University in Event Services before beginning his career with Bank of America as a Senior Fraud Analyst. He was dedicated to his work and highly respected by his colleagues.
Dennis was an avid sports enthusiast, particularly passionate about hockey and a loyal fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers. He traveled internationally to support his teams, attending games in London and the Czech Republic, and touring cities like Budapest and Vienna. Dennis was also a skilled golfer, having played in Ireland and Edinburgh, Scotland.
Dennis is survived by his loving parents, the Honorable Kathleen Lucas and J. Patrick Bradley; his brother, Jack Bradley; his maternal aunt, Charlotte Lucas of Millburn, NJ; cousins, Brendan and Meg Bate, and their daughter, Daisy, of West Orange, NJ, and Daniel Bate and his children, Nolan and Lily, of Wyncote, PA; his paternal aunts, Coleen Bradley of Kenilworth, NJ, and Susan Bradley of Wilmington, DE. He is predeceased by his sister, Eileen Clare Bradley; his maternal grandparents, Howard A. and Clare R. Lucas; and his paternal grandparents, Mary and John Bradley.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23rd from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 A.M. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, located at 2503 Centerville Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808. Dennis will be remembered fondly for his kindness, passion for life, and devotion to his family and friends.
