Dennis Binda Obituary, Death; – Durham Police have announced the issuance of an arrest warrant for an individual sought in connection with a shooting incident that resulted in a fatality in south Oshawa on December 31.
Dennis Binda, aged 29, was fatally shot at 1040 Cedar Street during the early afternoon hours on the final day of 2024. Law enforcement officials arrived at the location around 2 p.m. and discovered Binda inside the premises, where he was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
On Monday, Durham Police issued a warrant for the arrest of Michael Mills, 44, who faces a charge of second-degree murder. Binda’s death marks the 11th homicide recorded in Durham Region for the year.
