Decorey Lacarl Thomason Obituary, Death – Authorities in Greenville County confirmed that a shooting early on Friday morning at Boulder Creek Apartments on Furman Hall Road resulted in the death of one man and the injury of another.
When deputies got there at three in the morning, they discovered two guys who had been shot. Decorey Lacarl Thomason, a 31-year-old Mauldin resident, was one of the casualties; he was brought to the hospital but passed away shortly after.
Jamante Quentez Edward Williams, 27, was taken into custody just before nine in the morning, as stated by Lt. Ryan Flood of the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
Williams opened fire, striking two people, after a fight broke out during a party at the flats, according to investigators.
Williams is charged with several crimes, including murder, having a weapon during a violent crime, and having a firearm in the custody of a felon with a criminal record.
The Greenville County Detention Center is where he is being kept at the moment.
