Death; Taylor Neltner Burlington, Kentucky, Coach At Lady Jags Soccer, Has Passed Away: The beloved member of the Lady Jags Family, Taylor Neltner, passed away on Tuesday night, and the state of Kentucky was in mourning. Taylor’s life was inextricably linked to the Lady Jags; she was a fierce player who became a cherished leader and teammate, and more recently, she was an inspirational coach who had an impact on every girl and coach who was lucky enough to meet her. This loss is beyond words in its magnitude.
Taylor was friend, a co-coach, a mentee, and a daughter. Many people who were fortunate enough to have her in their lives can still feel this way. Taylor was a committed member of the Johnson University women’s soccer team and a proud graduate of the psychology program in December 2022. Her tenacity as a friend, her skill as an athlete, and her academic excellence all served to define her tenure on campus. The university community is inconsolable and grieving the loss of a person who touched so many lives.
We come together in prayer for Taylor’s family and friends during this deeply painful time. We send our sincere condolences, prayers, and consoling thoughts to Taylor’s sister Tori Neltner, her mother Jayme Hamilton Neltner, and the rest of her family. It is more important than ever that we support them as they cope with an unfathomable loss.
Many lives that Taylor Neltner impacted will carry on her legacy. Everyone who knew her will love and remember her kindness, leadership, and spirit. Let’s celebrate her amazing influence on our community and the lasting impression she made on our hearts while we grieve her passing.
