After a break of two years, Sarah Murray returned to her prior position at the KTTC/FOX 47 Creative Services department in 2022. With a plethora of expertise and excitement, she brings her energy to her current position as region Engagement Coordinator and is thrilled to be back in the dynamic Rochester region. Her professional path demonstrates her perseverance and creative ability. Having worked in social media, event organizing, photography, videography, and production, she has proven time and time again to be innovative and engaging.
As the Marketing Coordinator at KTTC-TV, she was responsible for creating captivating promotional videos that encapsulated the spirit of the station and its programs. In order to create material that connected with stakeholders and viewers alike, she was able to combine her technical expertise with her creative vision in this job. Sarah gained valuable experience at KUTV-TV in Salt Lake City before making her significant contributions at KTTC-TV. She produced, edited, and created videos for the station and nearby NGOs in her capacity as a Creative Services Producer.
Her responsibilities went beyond creating videos; in addition, she created newspaper and radio ads and created online visuals for the station’s website and social media accounts. Her adaptability to several media formats and her creative talents were highlighted in this job.Sarah’s professional accomplishments were well-founded by her educational background. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a Public Relations concentration from Winona State University in May 2016. She added a minor in communication studies to go along with her degree.
Her involvement in campus life during her time at Winona State was noteworthy; she worked two jobs on campus and was a member of seven groups, demonstrating her capacity to manage many obligations while making a significant contribution to her community. Her time spent working as the Volunteer Coordinator as an intern at the Frozen River Film Festival in Winona, Minnesota, stands out among her early experiences. She was able to combine her love of movies and community involvement with her organizational abilities in this capacity. Her dedication to public relations and communication was further evidenced by her role as PR Bulletin Editor for Circle K International.
